On the day of his death the Germans broke through at Signy and all Coy Commanders were told to withdraw to form a line between Grainville and Quincampoix. Pte Leah's grave is right in the centre of this line.

The explosion of the ammunition truck with the loss of six men from Digforce intrigued me so I've had a look at AMPC casualties for the 8th and 9th June 1940 - These are the 8th June casualties who were to the east of Rouen or who are commemorated on the Dunkirk Memorial :-

ROBSON, WILLIAM Corporal 3765031 08/06/1940 33 The King's Regiment (Liverpool) United Kingdom ANCRETIEVILLE-ST. VICTOR CHURCHYARD
BENNETT, ROBERT SIDNEY Private 3766082 08/06/1940 34 The King's Regiment (Liverpool) United Kingdom Column 42. DUNKIRK MEMORIAL
McIVER, FRANK Private 3766768 08/06/1940 30 The King's Regiment (Liverpool) United Kingdom Column 42. DUNKIRK MEMORIAL
BOURNE, JOHN Private 3768677 08/06/1940 26 The King's Regiment (Liverpool) United Kingdom Column 42. DUNKIRK MEMORIAL

I only find two more from 9th / 10th June so I suspect that the six men are in the casualties from 8th June

TRAVERSE, JOSEPH HENRY Corporal 3649304 09/06/1940 33 King's Shropshire Light Infantry United Kingdom Column 115. DUNKIRK MEMORIAL
