I found these photographs of 44 Squadron at an auction; wanted to share these as someone may find them of interest and may be able to give further details. They show members of the Squadron in Malta, Egypt, RAF Mildenhall, Abingdon OTU and RAF Wyton. Also on HMS Hawkins involved in what looks like Operation 'Hatbox'; includes photograph of Rebecca and Gee, transmitter/receiver. Any info welcomed. brithm

Many thanks for sharing the photos. 44 Squadron also served with RAF Coastal Command for a short time in 1942 when they were attached to 120 Squadron at Nutts Corner, Northern Ireland.
