4RTR - 15 June 1941 - Would really appreciate some help

Not sure if this is useful or not but I have “Lost in action – Halfaya Pass” and “Mine damage – Halfaya Pass” comment against the following Matilda’s and Light. Unfortunately I have no information as to which squadron these belonged to.

Matilda’s ( Lost in Action )
T6805, T6814, T6846, T6984, T6987, T7010, T7025, T7413, T10073, T10095 and T10120

Vickers Light VIC ( Lost in Action )
T5160

Matilda’s ( Mine damage )
T10089, T18890, T18893 and T18894

The only named 4 RTR Matilda in C Sqn 6 trp I have is DURBAN

My records from 1939/1940 cover 3 of the individuals you listed - no surprise that the serials 79nnn don't appear in my lists as these serials appear a bit later:

7884510 Cpl Raymond Hunter In 1939 this man was in RHQ
5103672 L/Sgt Arthur Leatherbarrow In 1939 this man was in B Company
7889912 L/Cpl Leonard Stretton In 1939 and 1940 this man was in C Company

Men could, and did, change Company (later Squadron) so this may not be as helpful as it appears!
