53rd General Hospital - 1944

    Hi

    My father was admitted to the 53rd General Hospital in Haifa, Palestine, from 24th to 30th April 1944.

    Some Googling found a wartime postcard of the 53rd General Hospital on ebay below. Written on the postcard itself was that the 53rd General Hospital was a former Italian Hospital.

    The link below is a Google street map view of the current Italian Hospital in Haifa, Israel and as you can see, they are a pretty good match.
