67 Maintenance Unit RAF

  1. Hi

My late father's RAF service record states that in 1942 he served with 67 MU but the location is illegible. It looks like 'Bechlam Bay' or 'Becklam Bay'. Can anyone help?

    Thanks

  4. Thanks, but I'm trying to decypher this place name. Is there any way I can upload a picture of it?

Ok - no takers on what you have posted in triplicate:-

Might need to un-clench the sphincter a bit and show some more of the posting sequence above and below so we can make a guess.

Your image is too narrow and magnified to make out - it may be attached A @.

If you can also tell us his trade it may assist.

  8. Thanks Ross

Don't know what most of that means but my dad was an airframe fitter from 1935 to 1959. Started on canvas and string flying boats, ended up on jets. I'd really just like to be able to decypher the handwriting...
