68 South Midland Field Regiment, Royal Artillery

    can someone tell me something of what happened to my dads regiment at dunkirk please or tell me where to look .
    regiment - 68 south midland fd regt RA 269 [warwick] battery ta .

    The regiment were in action at Elverdinge to the north west of Ypres covering the Yser. They expended all their ammo there, destroyed their guns and moved into the Dunkirk bridgehead where they embarked on 30th May.

    Do you want to know what they were doing prior to that? There are a few mentions in one of my books.

    Hi there I was wondering if anybody has information on the Regiment as my grandad was in it. He died before I was born so i hope you can help me.
