Owen...thanks for posting. PR 34s,was the type which had been in No 81 Squadron service from September 1946 until December 1955. Tengah situated on Singapore Island but a frequent detachment for No 81 Squadron was to Labuan,North Borneo where the aircraft may have been lost from. Tengah itself was also a base for jungle operations against the Chinese terrorists....a regular Bomber Command squadron detachment RAF station during the Malayan Emergency. Grave maintenance is in first class condition. Upkeep will be the responsibility of the MOD and not the CWGC since the deaths are outside of the CWGC qualifying period. Nav 2, Nav 3 etc was a designation introduced by the RAF in the immediate postwar period to reclassify aircrew....dropped as I remember not long after this accident. Per Ardua Ad Astra
