    Hi all,
on the 271 Squadron ORB for the D-Day night operations it is written that in one of the aircrafts that flew to DZ K, a para was killed by a stray bullet.
A quick look at the 8th Para Roll of Honour shows that:
3600565 Private William RICHARDSON was KIA on 06/06/1944 and is buried at Watchfield Military Cemetery grave 278

would someone knwow more about Pte Richardson story?

    Regards,

    Ludo
