I have posted about the records a couple of times... However I was wondering if anyone had any relatives who were in the 8th survey regiment, who perhaps might know about their history. I'm aware of the book in the imperial war museum, and I'm going to look at the regimental diaries soon. I have snippets of info from when my grandad was alive. Are there any members of the regiment left alive ?
