To anyone interested in tanks & armoured vehicles.

I picked up this little booklet on an auction site for £ 1.20.
Dated September 1942 it is titled A.F.V. Recognition British
& Allied Turreted A.F.Vs. and what a little gem of
Information I’ve found. This booklet was designed
as a guide to instructors of all arms in A.F.V. Recognition
in accordance with the policy given in A.C.I. 1248 of
    1942 (whatever that is).

The following are extracts taken from the book:

A.F.V. recognition is, therefore, a subject which, in
Varying degrees, must be learnt by all and not merely
    by anti-tank specialists.

All arms possess weapons which, if used correctly, are
Lethal to the tank, and even small arms fire can reduce
A tank’s efficiency with its blinding effect.

Aim at air intake louvers just behind bin either side
In a Pz.Kw.III; behind and to the left in a Pz.Kw.IV

This little book has over 170 pages of such information like
The above and this is only Part I so if anyone knows where
I could possibly get Part II I’d be very interested.

Below are a couple pictures out of the book…enjoy!

    Regards
    Kieron
