Andy obtained the 1943 War Diaries of the 1/6 Queen's for me and whilst reading them I have noticed numbers following the names of places. e.g. NOCERA INFERIORE 531380, PAGANINI 520383. Are these coordinates and how do they correlate to position?

6 figure grid referneces that you can translate into modern day co-ords. We have several threads mentioning them & how to translate.
