Hi Folk's,my Dad served in the RASC 1943-46,I know he arrived in Naples in 1944 and was a driver attached to 56 Div right till the end of hostilities then after leave went to Palestine I have photos of him covering these year;s some are marked Greek camp Gaza of which I can find no info at all,I have one photo of him in smart battledress, he is wearing medal ribbons and the Air Despatch arm badge Could anyone tell me when this badge came into use? All he ever mentioned was flying in Dakota's but where and when I don't know. Regard's Steve.
