Albert Edward Woodhouse, Queens Regiment

    My Grandfather left me a copy of "The History of The Queens Royal Regiment 1924 - 1948" which was his regiment.
    Willing to look details up for anyone who needs research.

    would it be possible for you to look up my father Albert Edward Woodhouse army no.6094401 born 13/01/1917 he was in the Queens Royal during ww2 attached to the 8th army in africa and italy where he was captured and held prisoner until the end of the war,

    Hi.
    Little bit of additional information re Pte A E Woodhouse his POW number was 128512 he was held at Stalag 7a which was was located at Moosberg.

    Just moved this here; the person you were asking for help hasn't logged on for a while, and a regimental history doesn't normally show men who served and survived, unless they were awarded gallantry medals, unfortunately.
