Perhaps a question for the mods. Earlier today I attempted to look a new posts. Each time I went to explore the site, there was a google ad blocking access. Naturally, I tried to remove the ad ( Google thanked me for the feedback ) but each time I tried to look at new posts, another ad showed up and blocked access. Thanks in advance.
Don't have access to Ads settings, but that initially sounds like a browser issue. Anyone else getting it?
Hi I presume the add at the top of the page is what is referred to, but its not blocking anything. Graeme
Hi, I am getting them too. I can remove them, but realize you guys need the money to finance all of it. Stefan.
Sometimes on the Home or Forum pages there is an overlap by an ad into a webpage space. But this is only because I work with a condensed width of viewing page (not sure what the correct term is for what I describe). If I want to be unhindered by the ad, I stretch my viewing page on the desktop, which moves the forum space away, leaving the ad where it is. Hopefully the images below will illustrate what I'm whittering on about:
I get the same as Bamboo, but when i log into the forum the ad disappears and everything is fine no problems. Graham.
Adam Good morning. Yes, Bamboo is right on the money or should I say advertisement. This morning, logging on was not an issue. But, yesterday it took me a dozen times before I gave up and waited for a couple of hours to try again. Anyway, if those advertisements fund the site, I have no issues.
Am I not right in saying that ads do not appear if you are a 'Patron', hence why they disappear when you log in. Believe this has come up before but can't find the post.
Will stare at the format options later. Have a vague theory. Also possible some format we can't accommodate being accepted on the Ad side, but that'd be an Otto job.
I only see one at the top and one at the bottom of page. They don't cover anything up. I'm in the US and using Chrome.
