Deacs Well i am from Cumbria.

I am wondering if any one can help with this please.

On Cockermouth war memorial I have a P Donoghue but I am unable to find a connection to Cockermouth with any casualty's with that name.

But I have found a P Donickey who does have a connection to Cockermouth
Name: Peter Donickey Birth Place: Carlisle Death Date: 19 Apr 1916 Death Location: France & Flanders Enlistment Location: Cockermouth, Cumberland Rank: Private Regiment: Border Regiment Battalion: 2nd Battalion Number: 20323 Type of Casualty: Killed in action Theatre of War: Western European Theatre
In CWGC it says he was 32 when he died.

But I am struggling to find any Donickeys born or living in Cockermouth

Could this be the same person ?

    Can any one help please.

    Regards Michael.
