Just to confirm my next visit to the National Archives is on Tuesday if anyone who hasn't contacted me yet wants any files copying.

    Hi Andy
Disc arrived yesterday. Very poignant reading about the 'fixed bayonet' heavy fighting, on the day that our family member was K.I.A. So helpful in building up a picture of his life at that time. Looking forward to receiving the other diaries.
Anyone reading this, I can really recommend Drews wonderful service, so convenient and reasonably priced.
    Cheers

    Hi
Just to say that my CD arrived and I'm thoroughly pleased with it. The war diaries for 1940 for 661 construction company RE has given me a great insight of what happened to my father at the evacuation at Dunkirk. At the moment I'm looking at the fact that he was evacuated from the pier on the Queen of Channel which was then bombed and sank and they were brought back by an oil tanker Doreen Rose - now know why he never even went paddling in the sea when we went on our hols.

Many thanks for a wonderful service.

Last bump of the week to let you know I'm going to Kew on the 7th and 14th May and possibly the 21st May - There's always room for more orders if anyone is considering obtaining a file or two.

    Cheers

If it was possible - I would really like to know what Capt Hood's POW interview record said - I think they were released this January for viewing.
I read your Cassel piece this morning and am going to read the diary again - this time with a map!
    kindest regards

Cheers again, Andy, for the AMES and BEF files from Kew. Donation to SSAFA for the latter on the way. And thanks for the bonus file - I know a certain radar expert who might appreciate that (it gives me something to give back to him for the help he's given over the last couple of years).

    Thanks again.

    Hi Drew
Many thanks for disc which arrived yesterday.
I am really pleased that I now have all the war diaries relating to my father in laws' war years. It creates a much clearer picture
for us as to where he was, both at home and abroad from 1939 to 1942.

    Cheers
