Sgt Arthur James Lewis Welsh Guards Born 5th May 1915 Cardiff, Glamorgan, Wales Born Arthur James Payne his mother was Florence Payne of 19 Moira Terrace, Cardiff, but adopted at an early age by Thomas and Margaret Lewis of 28 Ivor Street, Cardiff. World War 2 Service in The Welsh Guards, ending as Sergeant. His war service included spells as a PT Instructor and active service in N. Africa and Italy then joined the Fire Service. In later life he managed a furniture store . Died 19 October 1978 Neath, Glamorgan, Wales. Kyle
