    Kyle,
    Thank you for your reply.
Based upon the year he died, it is almost certain this veteran Leslie Walter Swift has his ashes scattered in Oosterbeek. The request made by the CWGC out of name of Mrs Swift was granted by the Renkum municipal in May 1984 .

Thank you both. The year 1977 is perfect match. The name of his wife Anita Lake (Mrs A. Garfield)? In the CWGC request it is G.M. Garfield.

Very very very nice. That's is brilliant. I searched the pegasusarchives site of course but there was no indication his ashes were in Oosterbeek. The newspaper did not pop up at this end of Europe..... I will be adding this one this weekend as well.

Ignored this forum a few years ago (2015 or so), but a place where somuch expertise and knowledge is coming to gether is a place not to be ignored. Went to FB (a horrible platform) to be able reach a greater group. FB is however not the place where a large group of specialists is joined. Only a few specialist actively shared information. Good to be back,

    Thank you Kyle.

This name is from a list found on the internet with only names and locations (plot references) where ashes are interred:
    Penfold, K. plot 27.B.04

The only Penfold I was able to find is

    Private K. Penfold, 4865420, 2 Parachute Battalion, C-Coy, 9 Platoon.

Do not know his date of birth or death. Based upon the plot i have an indication what year his ashes are interred.....
