    I would suspect the War Diaries (Assuming the ATS had them) or the Museum at Blandford maybe the only one to shed any light on the picture regarding names.

    I might pursue it later. It was just a thought, all those smiling faces in 1939 who hopefully survivied the war. I have three Carters, one M. Carter but she was a L/Cpl
    and our lady illustrated appears to be a one pipper so at least she made it.
