I am very proud of my father who passed away some years ago. Does anyone know of anyone else who served with him?

    Pamela,

Welcome aboard. The CWGC database shows thirty members of the 1/7th Battalion died that day and nearly all are in one cemetery.

    From Wiki, when in Normandy:
1/7th were in France in 1940. Do you know when he was commissioned? That may widen your research.
Link: Royal Warwickshire Regiment - Wikipedia and a little on: BBC - WW2 People's War - Brief account of the Royal Warwickshire Regiment in WW2

I have skimmed through the threads with a tag for the regiment and only two feature the 1/7th, very small threads though: 5126731 Lance Corporal Frederick George WILDING, 1/7th Bn. Royal Warwickshire Regiment: 17/07/1944 and 1/7th Royal Warwicks caen 1944

It might be worth visiting the Royal Warwickshire Museum @ Warwick. See: Royal Regiment of Fusiliers Museum (Warwickshire), St John's House, Warwick

Finally, although it is an essential step have you applied for his Service Record? (PM in a moment with tips).
