I have the 4th Div history.
I can't work out where they were for the day you want.
    Only what happened after that.

This may help from The Fourth Division by Hugh Williamson.
Included a page where it says 44th Div at Bailleul.

    Quite so.

The 44th (Home Counties) Division replaced the 51st (Highland) Division in the line between Croix de Poperinghe and Armentiers on the far left of BEF position.

The 51st had only a short while earlier taken over the sector from the 53rd Infantry Division before moving off to the Saar.
