Following on from the Sunderland is the North American B25 Mitchell also being moved from one hanger to another. I spent a few months helping with this project when they needed extra help paint stripping and cleaning (my specialist subject at the time). When I joined Duxford this plane was already in bits and the paintwork was a horrible red and green and possibly orange if my memory is correct, it was a real pain to strip off. Around this time the detached fuselage was lent out to a studio for the making of the film Hanover street (I still haven't seen it) and came back in a bit of a state as they had chopped it in half to get better camera shots!
