    What length was this Bailey Bridge at the Garden Festival Gateshead Newcastle in 1990?


    Also a second Military looking bridge in the background to this photo..
    Just realised that is part of the Dunston coal staithes built in timber and the largest timber structure in the UK

    Here are a few Bridges in Germany, i have about 45 photos of them from a RE unit. Patton Bridge, Montgomery Bridge and a few i can not ID. I have a few photos of a bridge in Cologne, on the Rhine River.
    Photos from my collection. The photos might be just post war. One of the photos is upside down. 620 Field Park Coy RE and 52nd [L] Div RE. Operation R?andle HQ ? is on the front of a Mat truck.

    They are using NEW Bailey bridging on the HS2 project off the A429 north of Kenilworth.
    It looks galvanized
