Good Morning! I hope you have all had a great week.

I recently got back from a trip exploring the Ardenne. I have made a video of each day there with my friend Lawrence and below is the first one. I hope you may find it of some interest.

In this video we explore the Bois Jacques woods where Easy Company were positioned to help hold Bastogne’s perimeter during the Battle of the Bulge and whilst there we also take a quick look at the village of Foy which the 101st liberated in January 1945. Following that we visit the 101st Airborne Headquarters at Heintz Barracks (or Bastogne Barracks) which was the nerve centre of Bastogne’s defence during the siege.

    Have a great weekend everybody!

    Ross
