    Again.
    You Swine!
I'm having to sit here and wait...
Travelling down tomorrow in the back of an Escort Van... I may evaporate.

    Seen anything good so far?
    Is that Colander Grant there?

Yes the former range marker/target Grant is there again, with lots of other tanks and vehicles. Working I haven't had a chance to see everything yet, but a couple of photos. These are all taken on my camera phone, so not up to my usual quality.

    Home Guard below.

Lots of wargaming and model displays. One was based on the Canadians in Operation Totalise.

Incredible pics! Correct me if I'm wrong, but is that a burning halftrack in the middle of pic #34?

Ross - might be good for the WW2 Society to have a stand there next year?

Didn't get much of a chance to take photos today; shame, as a whole company of Germans marched past our stand in perfect step!!

Yes that is an idea. How would we go about doing that?

The details in bench top games are second to none. This is most like Warhammer 40000. In which they use dyed cotton as smoke and fire. (see attached photo)

    Three photos from today:

One shows an excellent Bastogne snow scene, the other an American scene with superb scenery and the other the Saving Pte Ryan Tiger.

I also got to see three of the real 'Band of Brothers' veterans today; they passed out stand and gave us a little wave. Quite something!

    Final day tomorrow.

Never have I regretted choosing such a bloody silly screen name more than introducing myself as 'Von Poop'...
I was only going to stay for 1 post...

Paul, yes a little freaky... You are officially the first real person I 'met' on the Internet and also met in person....most peculiar.... nice to see you really exist!
(Hoping I've got some good Beltring pics to add)

    Cheers,
    Adam.

Grant pock-marked with hundreds of Panzerfaust holes, looks quite insane as it drives about....:

Nice photos - the Grant is an old range target IIRC.
