I see you found that nice Normandy wargame! Did you get anything good?

My sole personal purchase was an idiot proof charger for batteries from airsoft world, who I noticed now supply an airsoft sten. I'd have snapped that up but I know it's a new dev so I'll let other folk iron out the probs on that one. Very neat little '33 Ja! tinnie for the domestic goddess, and a German dog tag for our German Shepherd Dog.

The big spender this year was the boy slug, in one of the pics beaming, who bought the basis of a US airborne outfit, which he's still wearing of course.

    What about you?

Trenches were very big this year weren't they? Everybody had them, here's hoping the weather holds for the rest of the weekend.

I'm at loose end on Saturday and the wife is working so I've told her I'm going down to the show. Never been before and can't wait, feel like a kid a Christmas. :D

Got some nice photos, plus a few bits of British kit I was after and found a very cheap set of '37 web which always comes in handy... :D

You will love it. Of course it'll have a negative effect on any small displays you ever go to...

Frightening prices as far as I see them, ex WD war issue Webley .38 was 375 quid! So haven't looked much deeper, have noticed that reenactor groups tend to sell them to each other at much better prices so might be worth looking at that as a good angle.

Cheers Drew. I just told Kelley I'd be happy to save up and buy that MG-42 but she said I need my head banged against the wall.
