Berlin Next April

    Ok

    My Brother and I are hoping to go to Berlin next April to do some sightseeing from a History point of view. Has anyone got recommedations for what to see etc? all posts welcome! :)

    A few places from many others worth to see:

    Alliierten Museum
    The museum, located in the former U.S. Army "Outpost" movie theater, documents the role of the Western Allies (U.S., France, and Britain) in the post-war period and the life of allied troops in Berlin.

    The Plötzensee Memorial Centre
    Commemorates the German and foreign victims of National Socialism.

    The Zitadelle in Spandau
    It's not only example of Renaissance fortress architecture...

    Dorotheenstädtischer und Französischer Friedhof - cemeteries established in 18th century

    Potsdam - the old capital of Brandenburg state
