    Deacs Well i am from Cumbria.

    Thomas died on the 11th July 1915 at St.Elizabeth Hospital, St,John's Wood London. From wounds received at Ypres while doing his duty as a stretcher bearer and was interred at Kensal Green (All Souls) Cemetery on the Wednesday 14th July 1915.

    According to the village war memorial where this chap comes from (Dearham, Cumbria) his full name was:
    Thomas Maxwell Litt .

    The same war memorial actually lists him as 'Killed in Action' rather than 'Died of wounds' (see attached photographs).
