Hi Vitellino. I have contacted Katrina and she has been very helpful. We have also found my father's war diaries and now know that he was on a farm near Sali belonging to Luigi Bondrano. After that he worked on a farm in Vercelli supplying food for the silk factory. I was wondering if you or anyone else is aware of these places and whether they still exist? I will be visiting Vercelli for a few days next May and would really like to find them. Thanks, Jenn.

From the IRC records my Grandfather William Wyllie was transferred to PG106 on the 21/05/1943 from PG60 down south which was shutdown due to malaria and other problems within the camp. What appears to be unusual is that my Grandfather was from Glasgow, Scotland and everyone else in PG106 appears to be Kiwi or Australian. Waggie was stocky but only about 5' 4" in height. He escaped and \i am trying to find out his story. I tried to make a post asking anyone if on the website if any of their family members who were imprisoned in PG106 knew of the wee Glaswegian Waggie but cant seem to generate a post hence and would appreciate any help you could give me to get this question across. Ironically I now live in Auckland, NZ.
