I've had this set of binoculars for years and haven't had any luck tracking down any info on Capt O'Connor so thought I may as well put it out there - 224 Battery left 56th in September 1941 (going on Derek's site 56 (King’s Own) Anti-Tank Regiment RA(TA) - The Royal Artillery 1939-45 (ra39-45.co.uk) ) so I'd assume he named them up prior to then - ideally someone has War Diaries with Officer returns that could help get his number. Any suggestions or ideas welcome
