Carboot find would love to know what it says - propaganda leaflet

    Its in Burmese, I think - the numerals on the left are certainly Burmese (1), (2), (3), etc..

    Given it was dropped by the RAF I would hazard a guess that it was aimed at the Burmese population to inform them to help Allied Airmen and Soldiers with a promise of a reward.

    Someone is sure to come along and clarify the letter sooner or later.

    It's definitely a propaganda leaflet airdropped over Burma but, alas, this particular series it a small mystery. There were a few different ones in a similar style featuring the RAF crest, some printed on yellow paper.

    I'll have a look through my files tomorrow to see if I have anything more on them.
