On tonight's TV programme 'Britain by bike with Larry and George Lamb' they toured the Hebridean Cycle Way. On their journey they passed the crash site of Catalina JX273 which crashed 12 May 1944; part of the wreckage is still there and a memorial erected to the three crew who were killed.
