Consisting of a Cenotaph (Victory Tower) engraved with WW1 names and associated Memorial Wall (located behind) with WW2 names.

This memorial can be found on the western end of Viharamahadevi Park, which, in itself, is maintained by the Colombo Municiple Council.

I cannot find any CWGC link (maintenance, upkeep etc) to this memorial, but the names inscribed on it are to be found in the CWGC database, which provides additional information showing location of actual graves and mention of same names on other memorials (as appropriate).

This post is dedicated to those 46 men who died in WW2 and whose names appear on both panels...LEST WE FORGET.
