I would love to find a documentary which I have part of on an old video tape, I believe it was called Battle for Normandy and was narrated by Charles Wheeler, possibly made around the 50th anniversay of D-Day in 1994... If anyone can point me in the direction of a copy of this it would be very much appreciated....Very well made and interesting documentary....

Occasionally shown on history Channel , made in 1994 - a very good two part series. Wish BBC would show it again themselves. BBC have some excellent material made in the 1970's / 80's which deserves to be shown or at least be put out on DVD.
It was repeated for the 65th Anniversary, tucked away on BBC4 IIRC. Can't recall the exact title, though.
The BBC are in the process of making a lot of their 'back catalogue' available on iPlayer. There is a lot of work going on in respect of this but I can't advise when it will be available - none of it is as yet. I have no idea if it will include this programme, but if it was on BBC4 then that is a good sign.
