Well, this does sort of belong in the "get your kits out" thread but I felt I needed a perspective from my learned colleagues over here, so...

As some of you may know my dad was a Bren-gunner and as part of my own searches I've never seen a decent image of a Chindit with a Bren-gun - dad made comments about some pictures taken by a USAAF officer at Blackpool when he emerged from jungle post his second injury but if these exist...

So, decent Chindit models and figurines are pretty much rocking-horse droppings and when this turned up online I was somewhat intrigued as it somewhat was representative of what I perceived of him, at rest, enjoying a ciggie (as did most of the Army back then), Bren-gun to hand, in case of surprise...
This is not a budget purchase as these limited-run resin kits tend not to be and I put off purchase until the right time, hopeful the seller would still have it, which he did...
The artist is an Andy Cairns from New Zealand and has quite a nice website with numerous figurines, mostly in the common 120mm range - I do not have any experience of this sort of kit so will be asking the kit "specialists" opinions too...
From my CBI bretheren I'd like to ask them to answer questions too...

What do you think of the detailing, ignoring flashing, etc...?
    How accurate is the Bren-gun...?

From any kit specialists... I presume CA is the preferred glue and the paint has to be acrylic...?

This is going to be a slow build as I never rush things (as I posted on the GYKO thread) so will only bounce it back up as assembly progresses...

The pictures went odd in the conversion process but not sure where I stored originals...
