    Hi,

I’ve just come across these papers (pay book & various release papers) posted in the Gallery by forum member Sanchez.

I notice a couple of things of interest in the paperwork -

    1. Authorisation for Class B Release “to work of national importance” - he was a Builders Labourer from London so was presumably released early to work on post war reconstruction.

    2. Post War Gratuity calculation - paid 10 shillings (50p) per month for 40 months qualifying service plus £31 as post war credits (no information on how this is calculated).

I’ve never seen either form before.
