This fellow was born in Montreal Quebec. and served in the Royal Navy until he was killed in action on June 2nd 1940, it was said that he maintained control of the eastern Mole at dunkirk for 5 days and 6 nights almost continuously...he was a warded an MID seems a bit under stated considering his efforts in those days http://www.aboutorkney.com/jclouston00.html
