    Friends,

I hope you will allow me to publicise a conference with which I am involved at the University of Wolverhampton next month, marking the 75th anniversary of 2nd El Alamein; we are still able to accept registrations. There are some excellent speakers from the UK and abroad - including from the United States - and keynote addresses from some of the best writers on the war in the desert around. An El Alamein veteran will be in attendance on Day 1. It is very competitively priced for this kind of event and one of the local hotels is offering a discounted conference delegate rate. If you are interested, follow the link - which includes the running order and conference information or drop me a line; or, please spread the word!
    Thank you for your attention,

El Alamein Conference - University of Wolverhampton

If I lived in the UK...!

I hope the conference goes well.

PS do conferences in the UK generally allow the general public to attend?

I can't speak for other conferences, Chris - but we do!
