I did NOT have the opportunity to visit CWGC Deolali Cemetery (c170 graves), but now believe that access is possible once again. My sincere THANKS to M.S.BAHANWAL (Manager) - and all his Staff - for both the knowledge 'shared' and assistance provided during my visits to all of these cemeteries....SALUD! p.s. an additional THANKS for adopting a policy of maintaining/trimming all plants such that visitors are able to view and photograph the inscriptions at the bottom of all the headstones! I am dedicating this post to all those African soldiers - of whatever nationality and creed - for the great sacrifices they made in support of Allied Forces during WW2...Salud! In view of this dedication, I'm attaching 20 images - covering 18 African regiments - showing the graves of one soldier from each of those same regiments and an additional image of the grave of one UNKNOWN soldier. I am also including an image of the grave of a soldier from The Seychelles.
