Not in the London Gazette either ? The number given is a `Dragoons` number or if it was was a WW1 number it was allocated to either 492730, Private Henry Bone Corps: Royal Fusiliers pr 492730 Gnr Robert Fleet Pendleton RA they didnt win a DCM either? I`ll keep looking but could you post an image of the naming style please

    Kyle

The 'Nottinghamshire Sherwood Rangers Yeomanry' history for the Second World War lists only three DCMs, none to that name.
I suppose it's possible it was won extra-regimentally. Will see if I can find the South Notts Hussars...

You could try the Queen's Royal Lancers and Nottinghamshire Yeomanry Museum but it looks as though an enquiry will cost you £15.

I have a WW2 DCM register book and he's not listed in that either.

As Tim suggested looks like an inquiry to the museum, could always be post WW2 as George vi didn't die until 1952.
