Yep, looks like you're on the right track with 1/5 Queens, 131 Brigade, 44 Division.

Full title was 1/5th Battalion, Queen's Royal Regiment (West Surrey). Shortened at various times by themselves and others to:

    1/5 Bn Queen's Royal Regt
    1/5 Queens
    5 Queens

No QRR (East Surrey) thankfully - that lot is confusing enough!

The full diary you want is WO167/807, which covers their journey from Southampton to France/Belgium and their fight on the Escaut Line.

Well worth getting in touch with the Surrey History Centre. The Friends of Surrey Infantry Museum and QRR. They hold the regimental history and are organising a battlefield tour in May this year which covers the engagement on the Escaut and retreat back to Dunkirk. Places are limited though and it could be cutting it fine if you were interested in attending.
