I have my father in laws Navy service record, but it only shows the ships he served on and the dates. I know he was a deep sea diver during part of his service, but there is no mention of this He did his training on Whale Island at Portsmouth.He spent some time in Mombasa, I think Kilindini Harbour. Where can I find out more ? His name was William Jones 144096, dob 23/01/1920 Many Thanks for any help.
