    Hi
I am building a model of a Loyd carrier of 11 DLI in Normandy. Hopefully a very simple question to answer, but what colour were the DLI shoulder titles at this time? I have seen white on red, red on green and yellow on green versions (the last I am pretty sure was post war).. Does anyone have a definitive answer?
    TIA

Thanks Kyle. Being 'heavy' infantry myself, I had thought they might have had green titles. What about chevrons - white , black, or green?

Long service or Rank? The only photograph I can find at present is black/white! Durham Light Infantry ( Brian L Davis) states stripes backed by green (except 6th DLI who have been photographed wearing the Black on Red) Long service Red on Khaki ?

Thanks Kyle. Should have looked myself, but I have to admit that, even knowing it was there, it took me a while to find it. Not sure if I can manage that in 20mm scale! And I should defimitely have specified rank chevrons.
