Go on then, who's going to admit they are watching it ? I did! Must admit I liked the Swedish song, not sure I liked all that prancing around like Kate Bush but she did have a beautiful voice. Isn't it about time we pulled out of Eurovision-how much do we pay every year anyway? Lesley
So Poland gave the United Kingdom 4 points in the Eurovision Song Contest... I thought countries couldn't vote for themselves
If you want to watch it for the first time (again?) - see below. I flicked over for the first time when that chubby Azeri "pop star" was singing some nonsense, and at the end of the song when the subtitles came up (I have them on when I'm watching a programme with my elderly mother) they quoted the Irish BBC fella as saying "That was Ed Milliband. That was Ed Miliband... ", before the subtitles went onto say "That was Emin Agalarov". I was so non-plussed to read that the current Labour leader was singing at EuroVision that I post-recorded that couple of minutes to confirm the fact. It's true - According to the BBC, Ed Miliband did sing "When you give all you've got to give, it's never enough..." For live events, subtitles can be an essential addition. I just thank God that the BBC don't have the wherewithal to send this rubbish over to Canada Cheers Tom, Maybe it's simply a lack of space. With all the so called reality shows on here we really don't have room for any more. How could that possibly displace the obese, dwarf, gypsy bride searching for a wedding dress with her Amish family in the bayous of Louisiana?
It's coming up to silly time again:wink: Bonnie Tyler - Eurovision UK representative 2013 Last week DigitalSpy, one of the big internet broadcast media sites, thought the then-rumours meant Bonnie Langford!
