Chris If you're talking about the photo of George being taken POW with Jack Reynolds making the V Sign it's on page 122 of By Land Sea and Air. I had the pleasure to visit the Museum area with Jack and listen to his story first hand. He was not very happy as, whilst directing mortar fire in the Dell, a mortar or tank shell had dislodged a large branch which hit him in the face, knocking his pipe from his mouth and breaking several teeth. Thanks for the replies. The pic I refer to is the shot of three lads walking left to right, captioned that the central figure is making an angry gesture. As I did not know George at that age I did not recognise him as the l/h figure figure but accepted the caption's veracity as (and here I am guessing) the chap making the hand gesture seems to have officers marks on his blouson. I am not familiar with army insignia, having been RAF. As I know George was walking with him and near enough to speak to the officer it seems right. I also know details of Sig. Parry's capture but it does not add to this discussion.
Apart from Jack Reynolds (sitting on the box),were any of the other chaps in this photograph identified?
 Sorry about that Dave, I couldn't resist! Here's the pic with the names that are currently known.
