    Um...unfortunately no.
Let's see if I have grasped the principle of British crosswords:
    It's not a wildlife film

Bob Sink was quite a character. He was a fine commander as a rule, but he sometimes drank too much and was liable to issue silly orders when under the influence.

Submariners....Captain to sub control room crew after periscope panning on the surface .."Dive ..Dive....Dive"...followed by "Up periscope"

Seemed to be a feature of all submariner films

Allhier, Allo, gar lustig ist die Jägerei
    Allhier auf grüner Heid' .....

This ‘line’ is repeated a few times in one particularly memorable scene from this once record breaking WW2 film.

    The scene is on YouTube.

The film was released with two titles - both please .....

The song is Ein Jäger aus Kurpfalz (A Hunter from Kurpfalz) but as to the film, I have absolutely no idea.

    :lol::lol:absolutely unforgettable!!:lol::lol:
Whether the attribute "record-breaking" also applies here, I cannot say, however.

Good enough for Government Work. Somehow I sensed that ltdan would know. In the UK, it was actually released as: Don't Look Now... We're Being Shot At! with its British lead character being the redoubtable Terry Thomas (as ‘Big Moustache.’)

For three decades, it was France’s biggest box office success. I often thought ‘Allo, ‘Allo had rubbed shoulders with it.

In the famous rant scene Hitler tells everyone except Keitel, Jodl, Krebs and Burgdorf to leave the room but six men remain.

Are the two standing behind him Goebbels and Boremann? I haven't watched the whole movie yet.

Some years ago I saw a wonderful interview with the late Bruno Ganz. He'd be walking down the street and people would recognize him and cry, "Wo ist Steiner?"

In the case of the "Jäger aus Kurpfalz", I always come across this short video clip
I was actually not aware that it was also the film that was being searched for.
So I share the laurels of victory with Dan M :)
