Hi all. I don't collect photos of graves but I would like a photo of the FANY memorial at St Paul's Church, Knightsbridge, London. There are some online but not of very good quality that I've found. Any help would be great. Thank you.

Canadian connection to Women's Mechanical Transport Corps - FANY Recently while researching other things I came across a very short nominal roll of Canadian women who joined the Above unit Having NOT heard of them before a quick google told me a bit about the organization and the a check with TRUX and he told me more and it’s relationship to FANY I thought I would add this information here. This nominal roll is on embarkation from Halifax to England Aug 1941 source: Convoyweb and LAC https://heritage.canadiana.ca/view/oocihm.lac_reel_c5612/3352 View attachment 337840
Thank you for this, which I had not seen before. I noted Yvonne Rudellat is not listed as MBE or CdeG, both of which I understand were awarded posthumously after her initially unrecorded death in Bergen Belsen, a couple of days after liberation. Seemingly, she had been recommended for a MC, but this was not awarded to females at the time. She - with some renowned others - is also remembered at Brookwood: Some details are also furnished at: Remembering Yvonne Rudellat marking the 80th anniversary of her infiltration into France as the first FANY SOE operator and she is also noted by Harry Ree at: S.O.E. agents and Special operations agents as prisoners of war. Another very brave woman.
