The above named had a long service career joining the RAF in 1936 he served in 58 Squadron.and later in Staff posts

    his medals were:

1939/45 Star, Aircrew Europe Star with Clasp “ Atlantic” Defence Medal, War Medal with MID Oakleaf , General Service Medal Clasps “Cyprus “ and “Near East” and 1953 Coronation Medal.

After World War 2 he was transferred to the secretarial branch where he eventually became a Wing Commander
I have found a grainy photo of him in a group in the Tattler, he retired as an Hon Group Captain in the sixties , but hoped to find another better photo but as yet without success .

Does anyone have any group photos of 58 Sqn in 1939/40 or before ?

    Thanks for reading this post
