This book is the story of the 1937 cricket tour to Germany by the Gentleman of Worcestershire.

It's not strictly about the Second World War, but does cover the situation in the years immediately prior to the war. It contains descriptions of what life must have been like for Germans under Hitler, and in particular covers the attitude of the Nazis towards cricket.

It's a well written book, and is clearly the product of much research. I would recommend it to anyone who might be interested.
