Thanks Martin - funny you should mention disobeying orders as, only this morning, I was reading how someone did so to survive the Piper Alpha disaster - but we digress. I should also take this opportunity, though, to correct my broad misreading of Ancestry's warning as not yet actually dissing IE11.

I did so because my original copy had been taken down earlier this morning and, by the time it was 'magically reinstated', this daft new forum software wouldn't then let me simply delete my dot-joining repost meant to explain your thus-orphaned reaction to it to later readers. It seems, because the non-political Piper Alpha incident was cited in a supposedly-political thread, one of our admins overreacted to misapply this forum's illogical and poorly-disseminated anti-political censorship rule.
